Our new mode is as follows …..our little tandom!
Hence the blog updates have been delayed cycling obviously takes a lot longer than flying!Just jesting!!!
We decided on Friday to do some relaxing by the pool, as the intention at that point was to leave Las Vegas very early (6am) on the Saturday morning. So Cathal suggested we go to the pool at his hotel (The Excalibur). After numerous re-applications of suncream, dips in and out of the pool and lovely cold cocktails the heat was getting too much for us Irish white-skins or at that point red-skins. We certainly didn’t have the stamina required to go it any longer without our skin shrivelling up so it was a sensible decision to go indoors.
After a couple more games of black-jack it was time to get ready for dinner. Surprisingly enough it was back to the “all you can eat buffet” for a second night of gluttony. The first night of the buffet my eyes nearly popped out of their sockets with the quantity, smells and options of food-types available. I of course went overboard with the entire eating lark so the second night of buffet wasn’t as appealing to me compared with Cathal and Daire.

Feeling once again sickly full, we then went to take our seats at Ka, one of the many evening shows at the MGM Grand Hotel. It was an acrobatic performance with a story of love and tribal war. The acrobatic skill was phenomenal, the stage was out of this world nothing like I have seen before (through musicals on Broadway or Eastend)but the story was a little stretched to meet the skills.
As too much sun had been consumed earlier that day it was time to hit the hay for everyone. Said farewell to Cathal as tomorrow we will be heading off again!
