Ah yes indeed, I didn't realise that I brought my grandfather on holiday to Florida I thought I was with my boyfriend! As I type Daire is snoring, so now who is getting over the jet-lag??? How the tables turn!
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's
We both completed our check-out flights today with Flordia Aviation, the crowd who we have rented the plane from. So from 7am this morning the notes, books, checklists, airport diagrams and maps were out for the final minutes of memorising.
Upon arriving at St Augustine airport the welcome mat or rather sign was already up awaiting the royal couple to arrive.

They were all organised with two aircraft and two instructors ready to complete our flights both of which lasted an hour. Checks included stalls, steep turns, unusual attitude recovery, simulating engine failure, short field and normal landings, so basically we're all set to go safety-wise!
Once both back on "terra firma" we decided to stay another night here in St Augustine, chill out a bit take in some of the local sights, the sun, look over some of the route for tomorrow prior to starting the official tour, both fresh as daisies!
Roll on tomorrow, New Orleans here we come, cant concentrate any more with the snoring........
